With recent supply chain issues and component shortages as a result of the COVID era, focus has been drawn to resolve the SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply) future availability and secure reliable power supplies for ongoing support for the Harman Becker LOGIC7 amplifier repairs.
Based around the footprint of the SMPS used in previous designs, this new SMPS is designed specifically for the LOGIC7 underseat subwoofer application. Providing a steady regulated DC supply for the TPA3118 class d subwoofer amplifiers.
The SMPS modules are designed and assembled here in the UK using automotive grade AEC (Automotive Electronics Council) qualified components for high reliability and performance.
Development and testing has concluded and the supplied LOGIC7 amplifier kits and repair services will be fitted with these new modules from early spring 2023.
